Floral: The Jade Vine

We met with several florists during our search, but choosing The Jade Vine was the easiest decision of our entire wedding planning process. Planning our florals with Rhaya was such a joy! Rhaya asked thoughtful questions that helped us articulate our vision for wild, natural arrangements. All throughout the process, communication with The Jade Vine was always clear, kind, and prompt.

As our wedding approached, we needed to make a few updates to our plan, and Rhaya handled every change seamlessly. On the day wedding itself, The Jade Vine team was an absolute delight to work with. They brought our vision to life so perfectly that our guests kept telling us, ‘These flowers are so unique and so YOU!’

The Jade Vine team was so honored to work with Kirsten & Joseph and their amazing team of vendors on their beautiful wedding at Independence Grove. When we first met with the couple, they simply told us that they wanted a lot of color, and to prioritize locally grown flowers. Kirsten has a special love for sunflowers, so we made sure they had their moment. As a sustainable florist who relies heavily on seasonality and locality, we were thrilled by this request! We are always grateful to work with likeminded individuals who trust us to carry out their vision. This wedding was designed start to finish with 100% locally grown and harvested flowers through the Chicago Flower Market. Coupled with the natural landscape of the venue in August, it created the perfect haven for their celebration. To make the most of their wedding floral, we were able to repurpose the Chuppah design as a head table installation during cocktail hour. Overall, it was a joy to design for these two, and the beautiful photos allow viewers a glimpse of the love that came from the couple and their families.

Kirsten & Joseph, it was so lovely working with you two - thank you!
